WHO IS MERRITT?

Merritt Robinson grew up in Inglewood, California. He attended Rice University on an athletic scholarship and lettered in football and baseball. He became the first African American to letter in baseball at Rice University in 1988. He has worked in the banking industry as a sales executive with Hershey Foods, owned a youth sports company, and worked in Higher Education as a Dean and Vice President. Merritt holds a Master’s in Theology (Fuller Theological Seminary) and a PhD in Philosophy with a Theological Studies emphasis (Columbia International University). He is the Senior Pastor of a home fellowship called Infinite Christian Fellowship. He is married to Carolyn, and they have three children: Micah, Kayla, and Keira.
